NSM Crystal Therapy (also known as NSO Crystal Therapy) 

Terms and Conditions

1. About Us

1.1.  NSM Crystal Therapy (“NSMCT”) (also known as NSO Crystal Therapy) is a group of Crystal Practitioners and Therapists trained and qualified to the Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations (“ACHO”) Certificate and Diploma Level standards.  They are insured to work as Crystal Practitioners and Crystal Therapists.  The Crystal Practitioners are also General Regulatory Council for Complimentary Therapies (“GRCCT”) approved and regulated.

1.2.  The NSMCT Practitioners also hold informal workshops covering basic crystal related subjects which are aimed to be fun and informative.  These workshops do not provide the participants with any form of qualification.

1.3.  The NSM Crystal Therapy website, www.nsmcrystaltherapy.com advertises events, such as Taster Days, Therapy Days and Events that the NSMCT Practitioner and/or Therapist will be available at.  Bookings for workshops and events are available through the website.

1.4   Natalie O’Neill, one of the NSMCT Practitioners is also an ACHO approved and insured Tutor for Hope College of Crystal Therapy and advertises the ACHO accredited Foundation Level Crystal Therapy Course on the website mentioned in 1.3.

2. Availability

2.1.  Availability of spaces at all courses, workshops, taster and therapy days are on a first come first served basis.  For insurance and health and safety purposes booking above the recommended space allowance limits (determined by the venue) will not be available.

3. Workshops

3.1.  Workshops are available to those above the age of 18.  The Practitioner and/or Therapist may ask for identification if on arrival to the workshop if they believe the Customer to be under the age of 18.  If it is found that persons are under the age of 18, the Customer will be asked to leave the workshop without a refund.  This complies with the terms of insurance of the Practitioner and of the Therapist.

3.2. When booking a Course or Workshop online at the NSMCT Website 100% payment of the non-refundable deposit is required.  The Client will be emailed a receipt containing all of the necessary information and contact details for the respective Tutor, Practitioner or Therapist and the requirements for payment of the balance due.

4. Courses

4.1.  Courses are available to those above the age of 18.  The Tutor may ask for identification if on arrival to the workshop if they believe the Student to be under the age of 18.  If it is found that persons are under the age of 18, the Student will be asked to leave the Course without a refund.  This complies with the terms of insurance of the Tutor.

4.2. When booking a Course online at the NSMCT Website 100% payment of the non-refundable deposit is required.  The Student will be emailed a receipt containing all of the necessary information and contact details for the respective Tutor and the requirements for payment of the balance due.

4.3 All information, terms and conditions, payment details, syllabus details and enrolment information regarding the courses can be requested at any time via the Contact Us page on this website.  Request of such implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as well as the seperate Hope COllege of Crystal Healing Terms and Conditions.

5. Taster Therapy Session 

5.1.  Taster Sessions with NSMCT are for a period of 30 minutes and are charged at the price advertised on the website.  Clients will be asked to complete Confidential Health Records prior to the first session, and sign the Health Record each repeat session (if within 6 months of the first) to confirm and changes to the information.

5.2.  When booking a Taster Session online at the NSMCT Website 100% payment is required.  The Client will be emailed a receipt containing all of the necessary information and contact details for the respective Practitioner or Therapist.

5.4. Please see Section 7 regarding your responsibility to disclose vital health information to the Practitioner and/or Therapist before a session commences.

6. Full Therapy Sessions

6.1. Full Therapy Sessions with NSMCT are for a period of 60 minutes and are charged at the price advertised on the website.  Clients will be asked to complete Confidential Health Records prior to the first session, and sign the Health Record each repeat session (if within 6 months of the first) to confirm and changes to the information.

6.2. When booking a Full Therapy Session online at the NSMCT Website 100% payment is required.  The Client will be emailed a receipt containing all of the necessary information and contact details for the respective Practitioner or Therapist.

6.3.  Please see Section 7 regarding your responsibility to disclose vital health information to the Practitioner and/or Therapist before a session commences.

7. Client Records & Confidentiality

7.1. All client records are subject to a Confidentiality Agreement between NSMCT and the Client.  All records are stored in a locked, fire proof cabinet and will be retained by NSMCT for a period of 7 years.  After this time the records will be shredded and disposed of correctly.  NSMCT complies with the Data Protection Act.

7.2. NSMCT is duty bound to share these records with any of the Clients Medical Doctors, General Practitioners or Specialists if requested.   If, after the Client has completed and produced the Health Record Forms to NSMCT it is felt that the advice and permission of the Clients Medical Doctors, General Practitioners or Specialists is required before a Therapy Session can commence, the Client will be informed and their written permission to do so sought.

7.3.  Please see Section 7 regarding your responsibility to disclose vital health information to the NSMCT before a session commences.

8. Your responsibility and contract with NSM Crystal Therapy

8.1. To complete the Health Record Form in its entirety, to the best of your knowledge.

8.2. To list all medications past and present on the Health Record Form.

8.3. To list all Mental Health diagnosis together with medications.

8.4. To list all invasive surgery procedures.

8.5. To list all allergies.

8.6. To list any exposure or diagnosis of Infectious Diseases (as required by Statute) to include:

8.6.1. Acute encephalitis

8.6.2. Acute meningitis

8.6.3. Anthrax

8.6.4. Acute Poliomyelitis

8.6.5. Cholera

8.6.6. Diphtheria

8.6.7. Dysentery

8.6.8. Rubella

8.6.9. Leprosy

8.6.10. Infective Jaundice

8.6.11. Malaria

8.6.12. Leptospirosis

8.6.13. Measles

8.6.14. Ophthalmia Neonatorum

8.6.15. Paratyphoid Fever

8.6.16. Whooping Cough

8.6.17. Food Poisoning

8.6.18. Plague

8.6.19. Yellow Fever

8.6.20. Mumps

9. NSM Crystal Therapy’s responsibility and contract with you

9.1. The NSMCT Practitioners and Therapists are not medically trained or qualified and will not claim to be in any way.  Crystal Therapy can be used alongside, but not as a substitute for conventional medicine.  The Client will never be advised by any of the NSMCT Practitioners or Therapists to refrain from taking prescribed medication or to refrain from any course of therapy, rehabilitation or process as advised or prescribed by their General Practitioner, Medical Doctors or Specialists.

9.2. The NSMCT Practitioners and Therapists are not medically or clinically accountable for the Client.  It is the Client’s right to refuse therapy from NSMCT and ignore any advice given.  It is the Client’s prerogative to make their own choices with regard to their health and lifestyle.  NSMCT does not take any responsibility for the above mentioned choices made by the Client.

9.3. NSMCT will ensure that the Client is informed either in writing, by email, at the NSMCT website or by spoken conversation all of the procedures involved in the Therapy Session including such matters as Questionnaires, likely content, length of consultations, probable number of consultations and fees etc.  NSMCT will always discuss with the Client what to do in the event of them becoming uncomfortable during a Therapy Session, during the initial consultation and before the Session begins.

10. Healing cannot be Guaranteed

10.1. Crystal Therapy – There is no official scientific or medical research or findings to suggest that Crystals or any other form of complimentary therapy actually works.  When purchasing crystals, or undertaking the advice of any Practitioner or Therapist from NSMCT, no guarantee can be or will be given as to the success or potential success of doing so.  Any advice or claims made by the Practitioners or Therapists of NSMCT as to the benefits or properties of crystals are only suggestions and are drawn primarily from personal experience or various readily available crystal publications (books, internet, blogs or reading materials).

10.2. The NSMCT website, blogs or Social Media Pages are not recommended as means of medical diagnosis – the Client is advised to seek the advice of their Medical Doctor, General Practitioner or Specialist.

11. Cancellation and Refunds for Taster, Full Therapy Sessions, Workshops and Courses

11.1. All deposits for Taster Sessions, Full Therapy Sessions, Workshops and Courses are non-refundable.

11.2. Cancellations for Taster Therapy Sessions and Full Therapy Sessions must be made at least 24 hours prior to the session.  Deposits paid are non-refundable – any balance received will be offered towards another appointment or workshop, or refunded if requested.

11.3 Cancellations for Workshops and Courses must be made at least 72 hours prior to the session.  Deposits paid are non-refundable – any balance received will be offered towards another appointment, workshop, course, or refunded if requested.

12. Complaints

12.1. If a complaint should arise, it should be forwarded to the Director of NSM Crystal Therapy.  Contact details can be requested via the “Contact Us” page on the website.

13. Variations

13.1. NSMCT reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time.  It is advisable to check back from time to time to ensure that you are aware of any changes made.

14. Acceptance of Terms

14.1. Booking either online at www.nsmcrystaltherapy.com or payment made at an advertised venue for Taster Therapy Sessions, Full Therapy Sessions, Workshop Places or Course Places constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
